PokerMetrics: Stress and Lie Detection through Non-Invasive Physiological Sensing

چکیده

In this study, we demonstrate that we can use non-invasive physiology sensing to detect stress and lying, within the context of poker settings. We show how simply derived non-invasive physiological features such as voice pitch variation, skin conductance peaks, and heart rate variability are correlated to a number of high stress situations found in real money no-limit Hold’em tournaments. Using these features, we can develop simple linear models that can be used to identify stress and bluffing.

Stress detection in computer users through non-invasive monitoring of physiological signals.

he emerging discipline of Affective Computing pursues the development of computers that could interact with their users taking their affective states into account. For example, if a computer could detect when its user is experiencing stress, it could change the colors and sounds of its user interface to try to calm him/her down. Similarly, the pace of instruction in a computer-based training sy...

Proposed new signal for real-time stress monitoring: Combination of physiological measures

Human stress is a physiological tension that appears when a person responds to mental, emotional, or physical chal-lenges. Detecting human stress and developing methods to manage it, has become an important issue nowadays. Au-tomatic stress detection through physiological signals may be a useful method for solving this problem. In most of the earlier studies, long-term time window was considere...

تخمین غیرتهاجمی مدول الاستیک چشم کاتاراکته شده خرگوش

Although cataract is very common and its detection seems apparently easy especially in the mature cataract, its quantitative description to determine the critical value of diagnosis is too difficult. Non-invasive evaluation of the mechanical properties of eye is hampered by the absence of in-vivo methods for direct assessment of the axial length of eye, lens and cornea. In the present study...

Micro-cantilevered MEMS Biosensor for Detection of Malaria Protozoan Parasites

In this paper, the presented work aims to provide a designed model based on Finite element method for detection of Malaria protozoan parasites. Micro-cantilevers are next generation highly efficient biosensors for detection and prevention of any disease. Here, an E-shaped model for micro cantilevered biosensor is designed using COMSOL Multiphysics specifically for detection of Malaria. Microcan...

توسعه سامانه مکاترونیکی بلادرنگ سنجش استرس، مبتنی بر سیگنال‌های حیاتی

Stress has affected human’s lives in many areas, today. Stress can adversely affect human’s health to such a degree as to either cause death or indicate a major contributor to death. Therefore, in recent years, some researchers have focused to developing systems to detect stress and then presenting viable solutions to manage this issue. Generally, stress can be identified through three differe...
